L.A. Auto Show unveils the new Jaguar XKR-S convertible
The brand new Jaguar XKR-S convertible roared to life, delighting attendees of the current Los Angeles Auto Show. That's just one week after the automobile was declared by the car maker. The brand new drop-top version of the automaker's fastest and most effective model is bound to become the envy of enthusiasts. The cost will make most of us just window customers at the car dealership. Just 25 of the cars will ensure it is to United States showrooms. Here is the proof: New Jaguar XKR-S convertible roars out from Los Angeles Auto Show
Feel the power
Most critics already love the coupe XKR-S. You'll get wind in your hair with the rag-top version that has the same style, performance and power. Every person, except those who need a lot of space for several things, will appreciate its direct-injection 5.0-liter V8 with 550 horsepower and 501 lb-ft torque.
Goes very fast
Jaguar says the new XKR-S, like its hard-top predecessor, will go from zero to 60 in 4.2 seconds. That’s fast, but Steve Siler of “Car and Driver” claims he effortlessly knocked that down to four flat in test drives. The car’s top speed is 186 mph.
Look into mpg
On the open road, it will get 22 mpg and 15 mpg in the city. There is a six-speed transmission offered only, just like all XKR-S models.
Free-flowing exhaust system
The exhaust is one of the most essential points of selling the car. The horsepower is increased with the free-flowing exhaust system that helps with the power and fun of driving the XKR-S convertible. The coupe version has aluminum steering knuckles. This makes it so camber stiffness has a 23 percent increase.
Collector’s value ensured
The price tag of $138,875 is the real problem with this sporty vehicle. You expect to pay large for an unprecedented speed-and-power lover’s dream like this. This is also why the U.S. is only going to get a few. Increases in costs are all you can count on. It will be a sought-after automobile soon.
